Cooling for the IT system in downtown Munich

The servers of a company in downtown Munich kept causing problems. The reason: overheating. What to do? The cooling via open windows was not sufficient, and nothing should be mounted on the facade, as the building is a listed building. Schramm came up with the solution: cold water cooling of the server cabinet – generation in the basement with a water chiller. Web-supported monitoring of the server cabinet, so that everything works reliably.

Cold water cooling from Rittal on the server cabinet with control to save energy.

Cold water – generator in the basement as the best noise protection

Remko chiller with buffer tank to bridge the night. Without noise pollution for the residents.

Energy savings for all components

With even less energy you can no longer circulate the cold water. The lines are 150 meters long.
